  • I was a professional photographer for almost five years. A car accident (we think he was drunk) changed life for our family and I needed to sell my gear...
I've gotten my first "real" camera since then, in jumping back into photography, I've decided to post a photo every day.

Over the years I have enjoyed the opportunity to photograph fireworks.  The way this display lined up with the moon was awesome, and definitely the first time I have been able to compose fireworks photos with way.

Looks like it has been 6 days.  Life gets busy…

Apparently tonight we have a super moon.  Not totally sure I know what that means (http://bit.ly/134q168), but I figured it means I should try to take a picture.  I didn’t want to crop the photo at all out of the camera, as I kind of liked the minimalist feel to the image.

Two other photos today, one of Kenny playing lacrosse, as well of one of Matthew with Ranger (he was watching grandma and grandpa’s dog this weekend).

Going to try to get back into the swing of posting daily again.  Until next time!

Happy Father’s Day!  Our oldest son, Kenny, had his first Lacrosse game today.  The weather didn’t exactly cooperate, and the game was canceled about 15 minutes in.  I am uploading two pictures today, because I couldn’t decide which one I liked better.  The first is of Kenny scooping the ball near the sidelines.  You can see an opponent pressuring him.

The other photo shows the threatening skies as they were moving in:
